  1. The diagonal Diabetes text is a great directional device pulling the reader down to the organizational logo. Utilizing the angle of the photo to set up your design flow is great. The color is very eye catching. I also like the large #2 to emphasize Type 2 Diabetes. My recommendation would to make the use of font size consistent. It would be good to have a bit more copy explaining symptoms before the bullets. Nice work!

  2. Hola Gaby! Buen trabajo!

Hello Gaby! The color choice is great, calls for attention. Just like Mike says on the response before mine, the size of the letters of the word “Diabetes” can be consistent. Try to make them Capitalized and lower case (“D” Capitalized and “iabetes” in lower case). And something very important before showing the desings to the client, is to check spelling. Great job!

  3. I like this idea. My suggestion is to make the Diabetes text even bolder color or more contrasting from the background so the subtext will not be so imposing. I feel that the number 2 needs to be linked somehow to the word Diabetes, otherwise nobody will know it’s diabetes type 2. I would also make the orange even stronger. Can’t wait to see the real picture!

  4. The design is very effective in drawing the viewer into the text information. I really like the diagonal treatment and the background color. As a poster image, the design would certainly stand out on a wall among posters for other purposes. It doesn’t seem necessary to have the “I” and the “S” in DIABETES stand out so much – it’s distracting. With the “D” and “2″ bleeding off the page, you may want to increse the size of the word DIABETES to have the “S” bleed of the page as well. It would result in a graphic consistency within the design. The logo could be moved elsewhere if necessary. In creating the real photo image to be included you may want to consider flipping the image so the individual is looking into the text. As it is, my eye is immediately drawn to the photo image – and then off the page, instead of being directed by the image to the text message. It might be wise to make use of a younger model for the photo image to visually stress the increase in diabetes in younger people.

  5. Hola Gaby,

    Bastante original, buen trabajo!

    Hello Gaby,
I like the diagonal and the word Diabetes crossing the poster. I don’t mind you using only capital letters on the word diabetes, but I do mind not seeing well the letter d, maybe you can try to put it in a little bit more. Another thing is the B on diabetes seems skinnier than the other letters and this doesn’t help with type consistency. I agree with Mike the type should be uniform in size, alignment and graphic treatment (for example the way you treated Importancia: the title bigger and the text underneath smaller, makes the reading more interesting).
You would need to work a bit more on the 2, it doesn’t seem to relate to the word diabetes…one alternative could be to write diabetes2 on the diagonal…?
    good work, original!

  6. Hola amiga! i have been in design and graphics for over 11 years, art is my passion and i use it in conjunction with nonprofit. i work in Phoenix AZ for the world’s 1st and largest food bank as the senior designer/webmaster. i have traveled to Guatemala and do projects in Santiago with a school of homeless children.

i love how you are using text to pull the viewers eyes in a certain direction…great way to give the logo some impact!

Bleeding letters of the page is a creative element can that makes your design stand out, great job!

great color choice, orange really demand attention but doesn’t over power and it is a sociable color so its not intimidating .

my suggestion would be to flip your model so he is facing the logo and allow him to bleed off the not only the bottom but the left side as well.

    BUENO!!! great job!!!
